*Peer-to-Peer Support Counseling -YHELP! has partnered with Teen Talk App-  Teen Talk is a free iPhone and Android app where teens can get support for whatever they may be dealing with from a trained teen. It is a safe, non-judgmental space where you can anonymously post your issue at any time and get support from a trained teen from 5:00 to 10:00PM Pacific time.- Download Now


Mental Health Counseling & Training- YHELP! provides mental health counseling and awareness to the community along with coping strategies that everyone can use to cope with everyday stressors, particularly for youth. YHELP! does not diagnose but will refer youth to the appropriate local resources to receive more in-depth treatment if needed. Individual sessions with trained counselors and social workers are available via phone and email if applicable.

 

Individual Counseling (upon request) – YHELP! would like to help in all aspects of assisting youth nationwide. Individualized counseling services are provided on an as needed, temporary basis. YHELP! staff can provide this service but will refer the individual to local counseling resources for more in-depth services that is in the individual’s area for more hands-on support and case management. 

 

Transition and Independent Living Services – information and tips will be provided to the youth via website and community events to assist youth with preparing for the future.


 

Parent Coaching – assistance with communication between parents and children, learning the current youth challenges, restoring healthy bond between parents and children, and understanding technology commonly used by youth along with parameters

 

Social Media Counseling and Information Sessions – educating adults about social media themes, trends, settings, terminology, benefits, and potential threats as well as how to monitor your children online to protect them and others from actions that put them in compromising situations

 

Community Workshops – YHELP! is a friend to the community and would like to promote universal change by starting with assisting youth in the community by presenting helpful workshops of youth related topics by partnering with local and national agencies where youth frequent and are serviced, such as community centers, libraries, schools, and other venues.
